Wipro announces four new business lines to align with clients' needs

Under the newly formed model, Wipro has created four GBLs organized around cloud, enterprise technology and business transformation, engineering, and consulting, according to the exchange filings of the company.

This will come into the effect from April 1, 2023.

Enterprise futuring, full stride cloud, engineering edge, and consulting are the four lines.

Thierry Delaporte, MD, and CEO, of Wipro, commenting on the development, said, "Our transformation journey over the past three years has yielded outstanding growth for our business. So much that we have outgrown the two-business line model that we had set at the beginning of our journey."

The company recorded a 45 percent growth in revenue over the past 10 quarters and has recently crossed the annual run rate of 11 billion USD in revenues.

FullStride cloud will bring together Wipro's entire suite of cloud capabilities under a fully integrated, full-stack offering.

Jo Debecker, who leads Wipro's Cloud Infrastructure Services, will lead this business and assume the title of global head of Wipro FullStride Cloud.

The company's cloud business now makes up more than 1/3 of its revenues.
